HOMES FOR GREATER MIAMI
OUR MAIN GOAL:
This competition is a pilot for Habitat Young Professionals of Greater Miami in collaboration with the students of University of Miami - School of Architecture, to open the door for students in the young professionals’ world as well as creating awareness on our community’s needs and providing possible solutions for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami. The prize money for this competition has been granted by THE AWESOME FOUNDATION- The Miami Chapter.
AWARDS:
Winning students will receive a total of $1000 in awards. The jury will meet in January 2014 and February 2014 to select the winning project and the honorable mention. Winners will be notified, and there will be a showing of all the work submitted and acknowledging the winners in February 2014.
The winning project will be awarded $750, and honorable mention will be awarded $250.
